Introduction to The Flip Puzzle

Flip is a sleek and addictive logic puzzle that challenges you to transform a grid of black and white tiles into a uniform state—typically all white—using the fewest moves possible. Each move “flips” a selected tile and its orthogonal neighbors (up, down, left, right), toggling their colors. The catch? Flipping is not just local—it creates a ripple effect that can undo or enable progress elsewhere, demanding careful planning and foresight.

The Flip puzzle begins with a randomized pattern of black and white squares. Your goal is to find the optimal sequence of clicks that clears the board. While the rules are simple—click a square to flip it and its neighbors—the underlying logic can be surprisingly deep. Larger grids increase complexity exponentially, and certain configurations require strategic thinking reminiscent of classic puzzles.

What sets Flip apart is its elegant balance of accessibility and challenge. It's easy to learn in seconds, yet each puzzle offers a unique logical path to the solution. The game guarantees solvability and tracks your move count, encouraging both completion and optimization.
