Slant

Slant (also known as Gokigen Naname) is a loop-free logic puzzle for free that solve it by drawing diagonal lines in every cell to satisfy numbered clues—without forming any closed loops. Played on a square grid, the objective is to draw a diagonal line—either “/” or “\”—in every cell so that the resulting pattern satisfies numerical clues placed at certain grid intersections.

Each number in the puzzle indicates exactly how many diagonal lines meet at that point. For example, a “3” means three lines must converge at that corner, while a “0” means none should. Crucially, the completed maze of slanted lines must contain no closed loops—all lines must form open, non-intersecting paths across the grid.

Fill each grid square with a diagonal line so that the grid contains no loops and every numbered point has exactly that many lines meeting at it.

Left-click in a square to mark it with a \; right-click to mark it with a /. Keep clicking in a square to cycle it between \, / and empty.
